Hardin COUNTY KINSHIP CARE PROGRAM

Hardin County Job & Family Services (HCJFS) is pleased to provide an enhanced kinship navigator program for Hardin County.  As a participant, HCJFS will join in the state-level collaborative as well as lead a local collaborative focusing on the provision of supports for kinship caregivers (KCG).  The local collaborative will meet at least quarterly to assist in identifying services, locating KCG, providing a network for services, and assuring that programs are relevant to the needs of the KCG and the children they raise.

HCJFS is committed to providing information and referral services through our toll-free number, 800-442-7346, and by the after hours on-call worker for 24/7 access.  The Kinship Navigator will inform KCG of available assistance and  will assist KCG in accessing such support.
